The National Defense Authorization Act

This week the House voted to pass the FY24 National Defense Authorization Act.

As America faces growing threats from our adversaries, it's vital that we strengthen our military readiness and ensure our servicemen and women have the resources they need to defend America's interests at home and abroad.

This year's NDAA makes critical investments to combat Communist China's increased aggression, delivers resources to improve the quality of life for our troops and their families, ends woke programs in the military, and saves taxpayers billions of dollars.

Clawing Back Reckless Spending

It’s time to stop spending taxpayer dollars on foreign aid programs that benefit our adversaries.

This week my colleagues and I on the House Appropriations Committee marked up the State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs bill to strengthen our national security, support American values abroad, and claw back $11 BILLION of wasteful spending.

Lowering Energy Costs for Kansans

Instead of making the United States energy INDEPENDENT, President Biden's failed agenda has made our nation energy DEPENDENT.

It’s time for a new direction. I voted to pass the Lower Energy Costs Act to maximize American energy production and lower costs for Kansas families.

Bidenomics is Crushing Families and Businesses

Bidenomics has been disastrous for Kansans:

• 40-year high inflation—costing families over $10,000

• Highest gas prices in American history

• 20+ months of declining wages

• Billions in new tax hikes

In the FY24 National Defense Authorization Act, House Republicans are taking $39 billion away from woke programs and putting it towards strengthening our military readiness, countering Communist China, and supporting our troops and their families.
