John, this headline from Brookings confirms what we already knew:
"Young Latino voters will be vital to the outcome of the 2024 election"
— The Brookings Institute
There are two key reasons that young Latinos will be critical to the next election.
First, young Latinos overwhelmingly support progressive policies:
→ 80% of young Latinos support pro-immigrant policies like providing permanent legal status to DACA recipients and Dreamers.
→ 76% of young Latinos support pro-choice policies like passing federal legislation to protect abortion access.
→ 87% of young Latinos support pro-climate policies like investing to reduce greenhouse emissions and combat climate change.
→ 89% of young Latinos support pro-voting policies like passing new federal legislation to protect access to the ballot box at the national level.

When our communities turn out to vote, we cast their ballots for candidates who reflect these values.
HELP TURN OUT LATINO VOTERS
Second, the population of young Latinos is growing exponentially, especially in key battleground states.
→ Latinos have a higher rate of first-time voters than any other ethnic group. That means our efforts to reach young Latinos and get them registered to vote are critical to growing our base.
→ Young Latinos make up 40% of all newly eligible voters in battleground states like Arizona and Nevada. By registering and mobilizing new voters, we can reshape the electorate in states that will determine control of the House, Senate, and White House.
→ More than 4 million young Latinos will reach voting age by the next election. If we can get them registered to vote and mobilize them to cast a ballot, we can make our voices heard in a resounding way.

With your help, Voto Latino can register thousands of young Latinos nationwide to build the most pro-immigrant, pro-choice, pro-climate, pro-voting electorate in our nation's history. Will you donate today to support our work?
