Happy Friday! I hope you all had a wonderful week.

Every single Minnesotan should be able to send and receive their mail on time – and the fact that so many of you have been experiencing such persistent mail delivery delays is absolutely unacceptable.

At the end of next week, I will be meeting with regional United States Postal Service (USPS) leadership in Eagan and Prior Lake to discuss the postal service issues in the South Metro and Minnesota. Before I do that, I want to hear from you directly about how you’ve been impacted by these delays.

I’m looking for real-time feedback from all of you – so we can support our letter carriers and postal workers and help get your mail delivered on time.

Hosting Town Hall #55
It was great to hear from everyone during my July Town Hall on Monday – my 55th since taking office and our new puppy Dakota’s first! A special thank you to Whitney Place, Executive Director of USDA's Farm Service Agency Minnesota Office, for moderating and updating us on all things ag in Minnesota.

Meeting with Minnesota Labor Leaders
It’s the work of labor unions that help guarantee safe working conditions and liveable wages for our working families. This week, I met with AFSCME’s Jeff Vars to discuss how we can work together to ensure that Minnesota’s corrections officers have the support they need to keep our communities safe.

Partnering with Healthcare Leadership Council
This week, I was proud to accept the Healthcare Leadership Council’s Champion of Healthcare Innovation Award! It’s great to have such an impressive partner in the work to create a healthier future for our country.

Behind the scenes with Rep. Craig:

Exciting news: I’m starting to transition to put weight on the ankle! Happy to report that I am able to walk (short distances for now) around DC and Minnesota on my boot. Physical therapy up next. 

Well, I’m on my way home today after a busy week in DC – and I’m looking forward to a sunny weekend back in Minnesota.
