The National Center for Transgender Equality, in partnership with the Cal Dobbs (who is running across the United States for trans rights!), and the Pride Cup, are hosting events (virtual/in person) for the trans community and allies in Florida on July 28th and July 29th to show love and support for trans and intersex people in Florida! We hope to spend time with community and raise money for trans-led organizations in Florida including including SPEKTRUM Health, Divas in Dialogue, Central Florida Emergency Care Fund, Southern Legal Counsel, The Queer Trans Project, Color Me Queer, TRANSContinental Run, and National Center for Transgender Equality.

A moderated conversation by Cal Dobbs and the National Center for Trangender about trans inclusion in sports in the United States
This fun, family friendly event is an in-person and virtual 5k run to celebrate trans and intersex people in Florida, as well as Cal completing his run across the United States! The 5k will be followed by a lovely block party filled with vendors, music, and community. You can walk, run, etc.

In addition, this Monday 7/17 is Cal’s 100th day of his run across America so will he run the last 100 miles all at once as a last big push to raise funds for the groups listed above.
The goal is to raise $100,000 so we are calling this fundraiser on Monday 100x100x100 where Cal will run 100 miles on Day 100 to raise $100k for trans people by getting folks registered for the run!
