Hey John,

I’m reaching out because we’re about to submit our latest FEC fundraising report and I just want to say thank you so much for all of the support. 

Because of this amazing grassroots team, we reached 93% of our goal — and even though we fell a tiny bit short, I am confident our report is going to show the Republicans that we mean business! We couldn’t have done this without you, so thank you. 

I don’t know if this will be enough to stop the GOP’s attacks (House Republicans’ official PAC tasked with keeping Kevin McCarthy in control and flipping seats like mine has already spent five figures against me), but I know it will be enough to show that they’re not just going to be able to buy this seat. We’re going to secure the resources we need to win.
