An important update from Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington

John,

You probably already know that President Trump has shamelessly used his presidency to personally profit.

What you might not know—because it has never been reported all in one place—is the extent to which Trump’s administration has enabled his grifting by rolling out policies that specifically help his businesses. CREW research found 19 actions and rule changes made by the Trump administration that may help President Trump cash in.

These policies span the government, ranging from environmental regulations that benefit Trump’s golf courses, to work visas that allow his businesses to hire cheaper seasonal workers, to tax cuts that will likely save him millions, to major military decisions that protect his foreign businesses.

It’s clear that the scope of Trump’s corruption is bigger than any one scandal (or 20, or 50), and it’s certainly been going on longer than impeachment. His corruption has become the defining feature of his presidency.

It’s affecting the way taxpayer money is being spent. It’s affecting the way agencies are being run. It’s affecting the laws of the land.

We’re fighting back against Trump’s corruption every day, and we need your help. Will you share our list of the 19 Trump policies that pay off for Trump’s businesses on Facebook or Twitter?

When you read this list, it’s clear that Trump has used even obscure corners of the government for his own financial benefit. If you know of a policy that we should investigate, email [email protected]. We won’t let a single conflict or corrupt act go without scrutiny.

Thank you for standing with us,

The CREW Team
