Here’s three reasons this race matters:

 1. Democrats came within 1,000 votes of winning this State Assembly seat
in 2020.
 2. Wisconsin is being called the tipping-point state of the 2024
Presidential election, meaning whoever wins here is favored to win the
White House. And Wisconsin Republicans tried but failed to give
Wisconsin’s electoral votes to Donald Trump even though Joe Biden won
the state fair and square! They can’t be trusted with a supermajority.
 3. If Republicans held a supermajority last week, they would have killed
Tony’s budget that offered historic investments in public education,
healthcare, environmental preservation, and infrastructure. If they
win a supermajority they can effectively kill the second-half of his
term as Governor.
