John,

Senator Collins justified her vote to acquit President Trump by saying he had "learned from" impeachment and would be "much more cautious" in the future. Here's what happened next:

1. Trump gave a speech at the White House where he called Democrats "scum" and labeled the entire impeachment trial "b***s***."
2. Trump fired Lieutenant Colonel Vindman and Ambassador Gordon Sondland -- both of whom gave witness testimony in the impeachment trial.
3. Trump asked the DOJ to seek a shorter sentence for Roger Stone, his longtime friend and advisor, who was convicted of obstruction of justice, making false statements, and witness tampering.
4. After denying it for months, Trump just admitted to sending Rudy Giuliani to Ukraine to find damaging information about his political opponents.

It's clear that the only lesson President Trump has learned is that Senators like Susan Collins and Mitch McConnell will let him do whatever he wants. We're fighting back:

Fight back with a $3 contribution to Sara Gideon's campaign to defeat Susan Collins now.

Senator Collins refuses to hold President Trump accountable for his actions. But now, we have an opportunity to hold her accountable by beating her at the ballot box.

Let's do this,

Team Sara
