Mikie Sherrill :: U.S. Congress

The president's administration just released its budget plan, and I'll be honest -- it's bad for New Jersey families.

The budget would cut:

$900 billion from Medicaid
$500 billion from Medicare
$200 billion from SNAP (aka food stamps)
$24 billion from Social Security

This plan is dangerous for:

Families in our district that depend on Medicaid to stay healthy
Seniors in our district who depend on Medicare and Social Security
Children in our district who depend on SNAP for school lunches

Every day in Congress, I fight for the well-being of New Jerseyans -- from lowering the cost of prescription drugs to lessening the tax burden for our residents -- but the administration's budget undermines those efforts.

I need 500 more supporters to sign our petition to SAY NO to the Administration's dangerous budget. Will you add your name?
