The Freedom Caucus and the House GOP are trying to enact a national abortion ban on the backs of our brave troops.

Once again, MAGA Republicans are putting their anti-choice extremism ahead of what’s right for the country.

Advancing the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) has almost always been a bipartisan effort. But not this time. Extremists are using the NDAA as a vehicle for their far-right agenda, voting to ban the Pentagon from reimbursing servicemembers who are forced to travel for abortion care.

Reversing the Pentagon’s abortion travel policy is effectively a nationwide ban on abortion. Republicans will do whatever it takes to deny Americans their fundamental right to make private medical decisions about safe and legal abortions.
