Muni fares already too high? Join us this Tuesday to tell the SFMTA to stop the fare increase.

This Tuesday, the SFMTA Board of Directors is discussing their proposed fare increase which could go up to as high as $3.25 for cash fares. These fares are regressive, hurting those with the least ability to pay, and existing discount programs leave out many who already can't afford to pay the current fares.

Can you join me this Tuesday at 1pm to tell SFMTA to freeze fares in the upcoming budget cycle?

SFMTA Board of Directors Meeting
February 18 at 1pm @ City Hall
1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, room 400

Riders already have to deal with long waits, long travel times, and overcrowded buses and trains — we should not charge them more on top of the challenges of being a transit rider. Instead we look forward to working with SFMTA to expand Muni’s Lifeline pass and the upcoming 50% single-ride discount pilot.

See you Tuesday!
