We think you’ll agree that Coloradans expect more from their elected officials than politicians who put their ideology above our kids, our public health, or our ability to get ahead in life and make our own health care decisions.
With the pressing issues facing our state and our country, we need leaders who are ready to get serious about solving some of these issues – and we want to help elect – and reelect – great leaders.
That’s why we’re launching The Horizon Project.

The Horizon Project is a training program created in partnership with Attorney General Phil Weiser that will not only train organizers on how to deep canvass and engage most effectively with voters, but will also test their skills in the field. We’re launching our first in-person canvasses this weekend!
The Horizon Project will mobilize primarily in Colorado’s 8th District – our state’s newest Congressional District, and our most competitive.
A voting index recently rated the district as “EVEN” between Democrats and Republicans, meaning it is a true toss-up district. If Democrats want to retake the majority in Congress; keep our majority on the State Board of Education; and elect community-driven champions to local offices – we need to organize to win CO’s 8th District up and down the ballot.
With important elections in CO-08 in 2023 and 2024, we need to ensure we have the best ground game in town to win this battleground district. The Horizon Project will be critical to notching these wins and we're not wasting any time getting resources on the ground.
