Hi John,
Last week I joined 50 new citizens in celebrating their naturalization. I was honored to be present for this emotional moment. For many, citizenship represents stability, opportunity, and freedom. Two days after July 4th, it was incredible to see their patriotism for their new home.
Seeing their joy and celebration was a reminder of what makes our nation great. The USA is – and has always been – a country of immigrants, and it is our ability to come together as one nation that makes it such a special place.
I was so proud to be there to join fifty new citizens on this important day, and I am dedicated to making the USA a safer place for immigrants. Please sign on to my petition to say you're with me in this fight. [[link removed] lm-ga-07_email_140723_eng_citizens]

We still have a long way to go to make our country more inviting, but I will not stop working to make Georgia and the rest of the country a place where immigrants are welcomed with open arms. Please sign my petition to show your support for our mission. [[link removed] lm-ga-07_email_140723_eng_citizens]
