Associate Director of Events and Development

The Williams Institute seeks someone with experience developing and executing high-quality strategic programs, including events, sponsorship, fundraising, donor solicitation, and stewardship. The Associate Director will work in collaboration with other UCLA teams to oversee events and achieve the Williams Institute’s fundraising and friend-raising goals.

The Williams Institute is looking for a person to support the coordination and administration of all Development functions at the Institute. The Development Assistant provides logistical and administrative support for gift processing, donor stewardship, and events. They oversee database management and reporting, and the scheduling of donor and prospect meetings for the Senior Director of Development. In addition, the Development Assistant will assist in identifying, soliciting, acknowledging, and stewarding annual and special-gift prospects and donors.

Bianca D.M. Wilson to present at National Institutes of Health

On July 19, 2023, the National Institutes of Health will convene experts in research on reproductive health for a two-day workshop, Reproductive Life Planning and Pregnancy for SGM Communities. The Williams Institute's Senior Scholar of Public Policy Bianca D.M. Wilson will give a presentation on bridging research and policy to improve reproductive health for sexual and gender minorities at the plenary session.
