On May 24th, 2022, the world stopped when a gunman killed 19 students and 2 teachers in the Uvalde massacre.

Roland represents the community of Uvalde in the Texas Senate. He spent countless hours in Uvalde working with the victims’ families to keep our kids safe. Roland knew doing nothing wasn’t an option.
