Hi there, friend.

Last week, I had the chance to visit Peoria in the heart of Illinois’ 17th District. I saw firsthand how federal funding is set to upgrade the city’s infrastructure, including revitalizing main roads and adding more bike lanes.

In case you missed it, local station WMBD covered the visit. You can watch the full clip below.

These visits are one of my favorite parts of being in Congress, because I get to listen to community members and really understand their concerns. It allows me to advocate more effectively for constituents in Washington. Plus, visits like this give me a chance to bolster the trust I’ve earned within IL-17 by showing up as a neighbor and friend.

I’m thankful to be in a position to help secure significant investments for the communities and people I care about. And I promise to continue doing so as long as I’m in Congress.

Thanks for listening, team.

Eric

⚠️ Before you go. ⚠️

My race to keep Illinois 17th blue is now being dubbed “the most competitive” House race in the entire state. We’re working hard to communicate my message and push back against the GOP spin, but I could use your help:

I hate asking, but even a small donation would go a long way in powering my reelection campaign. This race is going to be close, and we can’t take anything for granted.
