The LGBTQ+ community is facing aggressive legislative attacks from the Republican party. From book bans and restrictions on teaching curriculum to restricting equal access to healthcare, Republicans have made it clear that their ignorance will always trump the safety and security of those they represent.

And with the recent Supreme Court ruling further limiting LGBTQ+ protections, we need to fight harder to ensure their freedoms are protected.

John, this isn’t something I take lightly. I’m working every day in Congress to fight back against extremist Republican policies and protect our fundamental rights. Passing non-discrimination policies, like the Equality Act, has never been more crucial. But we need to make sure we’re heard loud and clear.
