I spend a lot of time in these emails telling you why this race matters and all the good we can do with a Treasurer who’s willing to invest in our people. One thing I probably don’t do often enough, though, is ask why this race matters to you. I didn’t get into politics to make money or win fame—I got into politics so that I could serve the public and make a difference in people’s lives.
