Final bylaws rule, budget review on NCUA agenda ([link removed] )
The NCUA Board meets next week and is set to issue a final rule related to Federal Credit Union Bylaws. The NAFCU-sought Credit Union Governance Modernization Act (CUGMA), enacted into law in 2022, required the NCUA to implement a rule to make changes to member expulsion procedures bylaws of federal credit unions (FCUs).

The Treasury Department announced Andrea Gacki will become the director of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), effective in September. NAFCU works closely with FinCEN to ensure credit unions can effectively comply with anti-money laundering (AML)/Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)-related laws and regulations.
