Public Interest Grows for Encuentros
Dear Friends, 

Yesterday, the Washington Post printed my letter to the editor about the youth mental health crisis, and how our community-led Encuentros program is showing tremendous potential by helping youth and families develop skills and strategies to manage difficult emotions.

Identity Youth & Staff Present at National Conference
Identity youth and program facilitators showcased our Encuentros program in front of a national audience at the 2023 National School-Based Health Care Conference in Washington, D.C. Encuentros is our non-clinical peer-led emotional support program.  The team demonstrated how youth are serving as agents of change by helping peers manage difficult emotions related to immigration, family separation and the pandemic.
