Right now – Only FOUR Virginia State House seats are rated as
“Toss-Up” and two of the Democratic nominees in those races are our
Democratic scientists (Nurse Susanna Gibson in VA HD-57 + cybersecurity
Veteran Michael Feggans in VA HD-97).

We then have three incredible STEM Democrats running for OPEN seats in
high stakes races: water analyst and educator Amy Laufer in VA HD-55,
computer scientist Marty Martinez in VA HD-29, and engineer Bonita Anthony
in VA HD-92 (and two of these are rated as only ‘Leans Democrat!’)

If they win their races we win control of the State House from
Republicans. And while many organizations won’t invest in downballot races
(and opt to stick to Congressional races only) we’ve already invested
nearly a quarter million dollars in turning out and winning over Virginia
voters. And we’re just getting started.

Many of these races are going to be nail-biters and we learned Virginia
Republicans are outraising us. Which is why Hillary is sounding the alarm:
