I went on MSNBC the other day to make one thing abundantly clear:

It’s simply outrageous that Sen. Tommy Tuberville is playing games right now with our military and men and women in uniform. He’s single-handedly blocking hundreds of appointments and promotions — leading to vacancies and gaps in leadership that are causing chaos throughout our military. Let’s be blunt: He’s causing a national security crisis because of his personal political agenda.

It’s appalling to me to witness an entire political party thumb their nose at matters of national security. But that’s what Trump’s MAGA movement has done to the modern Republican Party. They’ve abandoned any semblance of caring about our democracy.

This is an issue that far too few Americans know about, and that’s the way Sen. Tuberville and his extreme allies want it. Well, that’s too bad for them, because I’m not going to shut up until they stop risking a national security disaster by jerking around the men and women who serve.
