Climate change is a crisis, and *this* is what Republicans were doing yesterday.

john

Devastating floods. Unrelenting heat waves. Uncontrolled wildfires. Extreme ocean temperatures.

Some scientists believe that last week we experienced one of the hottest days on Earth in 125,000 years.

This is a dire alarm, john.

Climate change is here, and its impacts are beyond extreme. And what are Republicans doing?

Instead of working to protect their constituents from the catastrophic impacts of this crisis, the GOP spent yesterday hearing from a fossil fuel industry shill advocating for *more* use of fossil fuels, not less.

The science is clear on this: We must fight to protect our environment, or we will face the consequences. Thanks to our Senate majority, we’ve passed the most significant legislation to combat climate change in history, but clearly, more needs to be done.

So I’m asking you, john, will you donate right now to help us protect and expand our Senate majority so we can make even more progress on transitioning toward a clean energy economy?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Republicans can’t even agree whether climate change is real, let alone muster courage to fight it.

But if we work together and organize, we can build a big, bold movement for a livable future that prioritizes the needs of our planet and its people.

Thanks for standing with me in this critical moment.
