Republicans are gearing up for an offensive in 2024 to take the White House, flip the Senate, and expand their majority in the House. And if they’re able to accomplish all three of those things, they’ll be able to pass a national abortion ban.

This isn’t hyperbole.

But there are two things we can do to stop it.

First, we combat extremism and stop the radical GOP from gaining control of the federal government. That effort can succeed by investing in swing states like Alaska.

Second, we rally around states like Alaska that have a robust, pro-freedom constitution. If Republicans do manage to gain more power in Washington, then it will be up to the states to present a strong constitutional argument against any federal abortion ban Republicans pass.

Alaska’s future could very well determine the future of the country.
