John, thank you!
Last week, we welcomed six all-star progressive candidates in Virginia to our 2023 slate of endorsements.
To kickstart our direct financial support for these strong campaigns, we launched a goal of raising $10,000 through our email program over the first week.
We’re proud to report back that thanks to this grassroots community and everyone who pitched in, we reached our goal!
These early investments will help our candidates:
- Hire top talent and build a world-class campaign team
- Reach the right voters with the right message
- Show their campaigns are competitive with significant grassroots support
- Build the resources required to compete against their anti-abortion, right-wing opponents and Glenn Youngkins’ war chest
- Spend less time fundraising and spend more time organizing
John, thank you for being in the fight to build progressive power in states like Virginia and across the country. If you’d like to further your impact, split a donation of 10 to support Sister District and our new candidates today.

Early investments allow us to lay the groundwork for success on Election Day. But we know that in order to block a GOP trifecta in Virginia, we can’t stop here.
With your sustained support, we’ll continue doing exactly what we set out to do — making a massive impact in critical state legislative races that will shape politics for years to come.
Thank you again, and more updates soon!
