Hank has a 3-part plan. But we’re looking for your thoughts on how you’d like to reform the Supreme Court.

Hank Johnson for Congress

Hi John,

We’re reaching out to get your thoughts about how best to reform the Supreme Court and stop the right-wing supermajority from continuing to trample on our rights.

Will you take a 15-second survey to let us know what you think is the most important way to reform the Court?

Hank has a comprehensive plan to reform the Supreme Court, with three main parts:

  1. Expand the number of justices to 13.
Not only has Congress increased the number of justices on the Supreme Court multiple times in the past, but the expansion to 13 makes logical sense — one justice to oversee each Circuit Court of Appeals.

  2. Create a code of ethics for justices.
Every other judge in the federal judiciary must abide by a code of ethics, just like every member of Congress and senior executive branch official. Recent news about Justices Thomas and Alito have made the creation of a code of ethics even more urgent.

  3. Establish Supreme Court term limits.
Old and outdated thinking has been allowed to calcify on the bench. Term limits of 18 years would help keep justices accountable to the people they serve.

Let us know which part of Hank's plan is most important to you — or if you have other ideas of how to reform the Supreme Court — by taking our quick survey →

Thanks, John!
