One year ago, the House passed the Honoring Our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxins (PACT) Act and sent it to the Senate for final approval before heading to President Biden’s desk to be signed into law.

The PACT Act passed both chambers with overwhelming bipartisan support to make good on our promise to provide support and take care of our military servicemembers who have bravely sacrificed so much for our country.

When the PACT Act was signed into law last summer, it marked the most significant expansion of VA health care benefits and services in more than 30 years for more than 5 million veterans.

With its enactment, the PACT Act is a critical step in taking care of our veterans by ensuring they can receive high quality health care related to toxic exposure, reducing the paperwork for certain veterans if they are diagnosed with specific conditions, and expanding screenings for toxic exposure.

Actions speak louder than words, so when we thank our veterans for their service, it cannot be an empty gesture. As a nation, we must ensure that our veterans receive top-notch health care and services.

To stand with me in the fight to take care of our servicemembers and their families, will you make a contribution of any amount to my campaign today? [[link removed]]

Thank you,

Congressman Sanford Bishop
