Did you hear this news? The Supreme Court will hear a case that could mean those who have restraining orders against them for domestic violence can more easily obtain a gun.

After a wave of bad rulings by the conservative supermajority on the Supreme Court, we here at Democrats Win Seats are concerned that they will rule to put guns in the hands of dangerous abusers.

With headlines of a new shooting seemingly every day, we can’t afford to sit back while the Supreme Court takes additional action against gun safety.

Nearly two-thirds of domestic homicides in the United States are committed with a gun. And stats show most mass shootings in America are related to domestic disputes.

Democrats in the House passed a gun safety bill that would close the critical loopholes that allowed convicted domestic violence offenders to purchase weapons.

But now, the Supreme Court could put guns in the hands of domestic violence abusers.

Overriding these laws is reckless and endangers our families. Electing Democrats in 2024 is the best way to ensure that we will have people in government who will fight for our safety.
