It’s a fundamental truth that everybody knows at least one person in Ohio. It’s just one of those things like “where do all my socks go when I do laundry?” that nobody can really explain. It’s just facts.
It’s time to use those relationships for good, because Ohio has an obscure but wildly important special election coming up. On Tuesday, August 8th, Ohioans will be voting on a Republican ballot measure to make it way more difficult to amend the state constitution. This measure is designed to disrupt a reproductive freedom amendment that’s expected to be on the ballot in November.
So in addition to all the calls we’re making to strangers, we’re reaching into our personal networks and hosting a Social Media Organizing Workshop: Ohio Edition.
