CF Advocate Provides Testimony at Congressional Hearing on Impact of Antimicrobial Resistance
This week, we were proud to have Melanie Lawrence, an adult with cystic fibrosis,
testify before a Senate subcommittee regarding the impact of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) ([link removed]). AMR and the spread of drug-resistant superbugs can impact everyone but is particularly urgent for people with cystic fibrosis and others who face a heightened risk of chronic infections and may require routine use of antibiotics.
