Friend,

I want to make this as clear as I can: I will always stand up for the First Amendment.  Freedom of speech and expression is one of the first rights guaranteed to American citizens, and I will stand against anyone who tries to take that away.

As a member of Congress, I took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution. I will always make sure that our North Dakota values are front and center, and this includes the right to speak.
