I’ll admit it: Glenn Youngkin is right for a change. Republicans are changing their tactics with the debut of the new “Bank Your Vote” web portal that utilizes the same early voting techniques Donald Trump villainized in 2020. Youngkin urged his party to vote early and has identified 500k MAGA Republicans they hope to turn out in 2023. Make no mistake, this next election is going to be different. We need to make sure we get every Democratic voter to turn out in November, and now is the time to commit to vote early, or on November 7th!

Democrats are no stranger to early voting, casting their ballots early in numbers of the hundreds of thousands in the past few elections. Voting early gives you the chance to vote when it's convenient, even if you can’t get to the polls on Election Day. You can vote early at your local registrar’s office beginning 45 days before Election Day and ending the Saturday before Election Day.

That’s where the governor went wrong: when people vote, Democrats win! In nearly every high-turnout election here in Virginia, when you vote, we elect leaders who will listen to the causes we care about, advocate for marginalized communities, and strengthen our foundations of democracy. Now more than ever casting your vote empowers you to shape the policies and determine the direction Virginia takes. This November will be no different, so let’s prove Youngkin right by proving him wrong. Can I count on you to make a dedicated plan today to vote early or on election day?
