John, ours is a must-win race for so many reasons, but I want to highlight just three:
- Abortion Bans - NC Republicans — including my likely opponent Mark Robinson — aren’t finished attacking women’s rights. They WILL ban all access to abortion for any reason if given the chance.
- Anti-LGBTQ+ Bills - GOP legislators also just passed cruel and discriminatory restrictions on the rights of LGBTQ+ North Carolinians — once again targeting vulnerable people and flaming their dangerous culture wars.
- Voting Rights - And Republicans plan to roll back voting rights making it harder for people to register and vote on the same day or vote by mail.
John, extremists are working to strip away our fundamental rights. If they take the Governor’s Office next year, there will be no one standing in their way.
