Friend – you might find this hard to believe when you think about the tens of millions of dollars that GOP super PACs are set to spend to defeat us, but the average grassroots donation to our campaign is just $26.

We're mighty proud of that fact – and of the grassroots movement that we're building together. It's made up of folks like you who believe in our fight and chip in what you can, when you can.

This grassroots movement is how we're going to win a race that NBC News says will be "one of the nastiest and most expensive in the country" and defend our razor-thin Senate majority.

But here's the problem: The Cook Political Report is calling our race a toss-up – and experts at FiveThirtyEight say Ohio could decide Senate control. We simply cannot surge ahead and win without ALL hands on deck.

Now, we're coming up on a midnight fundraising deadline, but we're still falling short of our $10,000 goal. If everyone reading this chipped in $26, we could reach our goal in no time – but we know not everyone will, so we're asking you, friend.

Please, will you chip in $26 – or as much as you can spare – to help us fight back against the GOP's millions, defend this seat, and keep the Senate blue?
