Iowa Republicans just passed one of the most extreme abortion bans in the country in a middle-of-the-night special session called by Iowa's anti-choice governor specifically to attack reproductive rights.

We know most Americans oppose bans. Now, we need to know where this community stands — which means we need you, John. Do you approve of the Iowa ban?

Bad news out of Iowa, John.

Anti-choice Governor Kim Reynolds called a special session this week specifically to restrict abortion, and she got what she wanted. In a cowardly middle-of-the-night vote, Iowa Republicans obliterated the right to choose in their state by passing one of the most extreme and restrictive abortion bans in the country.

Recent polling shows that 73% of Americans (including Republicans, and including people who live in states with bans in place) oppose abortion bans. So-called leaders who legislate in direct opposition to those numbers are not reading the writing on the wall, and will face their constituents at the ballot box. It's as simple as that.

We need to know where our community stands on this. We're looking for 20,000 responses, and we need you, John. Do you approve of abortion bans like the one passed in Iowa?
