fundraising quarter. But between the holiday last week and the summertime
slowdown every campaign has come to expect around this time each year,
July hasn’t gotten off to as strong of a start as we were hoping.

A lull in online fundraising probably doesn’t make much of a difference to
politicians like Josh Hawley. In fact, just this week, a new Super PAC
funded by a handful of billionaire mega-donors and corporate elites
announced it had raised over $1 million to prop up his campaign + fund ads
attacking Lucas.

But since Lucas doesn’t take a cent from corporate PACs, federal
lobbyists, or shady mega-donors, our grassroots campaign is relying on

our movement and to stay prepared for the fight ahead.
