Endangered grizzly bears need protections! ([link removed])

Friend, grizzly bears need your immediate action. ([link removed])
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is considering whether it will remove Endangered Species Act protections for grizzly bears living in the Northern Continental Divide and the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystems, jeopardizing the survival of this already threatened species. Take action TODAY and urge the USFWS to keep grizzly bears protected under the Endangered Species Act. ([link removed])

About 50,000 grizzly bears once ranged from northern Mexico to Alaska, but by the 1930s, they had been nearly wiped out. The remaining approximately 135 bears were saved because of protections afforded to them by the Endangered Species Act in 1975. Since then, grizzly populations have started to slowly rebound, and now number only about 2,000 in the lower 48 states, but they are no way near recovered. If these critical protections are taken away, grizzlies have no chance of survival.
Grizzly bears are an important part of ecosystems. And removing their federal protections would allow them to be trophy hunted for bearskin rugs or to mount their heads on a wall, undoing all the progress made to bring them back from the brink of extinction. We cannot allow these magnificent animals to disappear forever. Please don’t wait, tell the USFWS to keep our iconic grizzly bears protected for future generations. ([link removed])
