A young Christian has been sentenced to execution by hanging for his faith.

Shahzad was just a 16-year-old boy when he was arrested and maliciously accused of blasphemy. Now, if we don't help, he will be executed for his Christian faith. Our legal team on the ground in Pakistan has appealed his wrongful conviction.

But he's not alone. Christians in Pakistan face growing mob violence, beatings, enslavement, and extrajudicial hangings. Being a Christian in Pakistan can literally be a death sentence. This is the stark reality.

Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief – demanding international action to save Christians in Pakistan and Nigeria, before it's too late.
