The Internal Revenue Service is hiring armed special agents in its “Criminal Investigation” unit. These agents will be authorized to carry firearms and use “deadly force” when necessary.

The IRS is quickly developing into an agency that resembles the Soviet Union’s Stasi more than it does a branch of our democracy, and something must be done before it gets worse.
