Folks, a couple of weeks ago I sat down with Dan Clark on New York Now to discuss my work as Lt. Governor. »
I discussed what I’ve learned as I’ve traveled the state and met folks all over, looking to understand what the needs are across New York communities:
We need to empower communities, especially those that have been overlooked or marginalized. We need to promote holistic economic growth. We need to improve affordability for working families. And there is so much more to be done.
I also discussed my work as Chair of the Hate and Bias Prevention Unit as we look to proactively address attacks against marginalized communities and work with grassroots organizations to amplify their work.
Team, I’m proud to be doing this work to create a better, more unified New York.
You can watch the video here. Then, if you’re with me, would you consider chipping in $5 or any amount to push New York forward? »
Thank you so much, friends.
