Mitch McConnell’s handpicked Republican candidate just launched his campaign to unseat my friend Senator Jon Tester, flip a critical seat red, and take back the Senate.

Political experts are watching this race. POLITICO says control of the Senate “runs through Montana.” Axios says the Montana Senate race is “among the most competitive in the nation.”

We should not allow Mitch McConnell to handpick the next Senator from Montana. We need to support our Democratic champion Jon Tester and keep the Senate blue. Pitch in $5 now.

Let me tell you something I’ve learned through the years of working with my colleague Jon Tester, John. This man is not afraid of a tough fight. The GOP have been eyeing this seat for years — but time and time again, Jon shows them what he’s made of and Montana’s voters send him back to the Senate.

Jon describes himself as the “only working dirt farmer” in the Senate. He gets $15 flattop haircuts. He didn’t come to Washington to impress lobbyists and politicians, but to help people. That’s the kind of leader that Montanans deserve — and one we need in our Senate majority.
