Supreme court attacks on abortion, affirmative action, and students with loans has been a real gut punch. But it has actually been an attempt to lay us out with pure emotional exhaustion and despair so that the rich can become richer.
Enter Chief Justice Alito’s loved fishing partner Paul Singer (see multiple articles by ProPublica on their escapades) whose money is sponsoring legal challenges to numerous fiscal and environmental policies that hold his corporations in check. By funding the body punches on our rights it hides the fact that these additional legal briefs are attempts to make billions of dollars in additional profit for Singer and all his cronies including Harlan Crowe and the Uihlein’s. The same billions that go to elect Trump, repeal abortion rights, roll back environmental policies, and kill our civil rights. Andy, Angry Chinese Guy |
