John, it’s been an eventful couple of weeks in Washington.

I’m sure you saw that the Supreme Court recently handed down a number of devastating rulings. They struck down student loan forgiveness, rolled back protections for the LGBTQ+ community, and severely altered the processes that contribute to equity in college admissions.

The Supreme Court wields immense power, and their decisions are often immediately felt by the American people.

My husband and I graduated law school with crushing debt and started our new careers and our family while drowning in loans. I can imagine what it must feel like for millions of borrowers who'd hoped relief was coming, only to have it pulled away in an instant.

These rulings are another reminder that we need to work hard and build the strongest campaign possible to keep this seat blue and retake the House. Winning a strong, Democratic majority is an important step in creating a check against these attacks.

As my campaign team strategizes for July, I wanted to check in to see what’s been top of mind for you. Can you let us know what you’re thinking about by filling out our short issues survey?
