Reading – discovery – is one of the most critical skills developed in childhood. But Republicans are hell-bent on controlling this universal experience. The likes of Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott are exercising control over bodily autonomy – and now, they’re deciding what books our kids can read.

That’s why we’ve created this survey to figure out what Run for Something supporters think of these horrid book bans. Will you take our survey and let us know your thoughts before midnight tonight?

Since 2022, right-wing groups have tried 700 TIMES to ban more than 1,600 unique books. Over 4 million kids are being impacted by these ridiculous bans. Specifically, extremist right-wingers are determined to ban books related to crucial topics such as race, gender and sexuality. 

And we absolutely cannot let this continue. It’s time to raise our voices in unison: We’ve set a goal to collect 10,000 responses on our survey to stop these ridiculous book bans. Please, begin now >>
