Our current Supreme Court is an excellent example of elections having consequences. Every Justice that serves went through the same process. They were nominated by the President of the United States and confirmed by the US Senate. And while some election consequences fizzle, the same cannot be said about our courts.

From reproductive freedom to Affirmative Action to LGBTQ rights, we are watching President Trump’s agenda being codified by a right-wing court. The ONLY way we can fight back is to mobilize and elect future leadership that will do better.

Every potential voter that could have been reached, every potential voter that could have been registered – these are things within our control. We just need to do more.
