John, I came out against the swamp's debt "deal" last month because of one inconvenient truth: it suspended the debt ceiling while doing absolutely nothing to actually reduce the debt.
The career politicians declared it a big victory. In fact, I was the only candidate in the race for the 47th District to speak out against it. Well, I just read a story that confirmed my worst fears:

Our national debt is spiraling out of control, John. It's showing no signs of slowing down, and my generation is going to get hit with the bill.
The good news is that there is still time to turn things around...but we have to get serious. We can't let career politicians keep kicking the can down the road.
I'm not running for Congress to play games. I'm running to get serious about cutting spending. About reducing the debt. About balancing the budget.
Orange County families deserve more than just lip service from their representative in Washington. They deserve a principled conservative leader who isn't afraid to stand up against the status quo and say ENOUGH.
