Equal protection under the law is a constitutional right. But in recent times, the landscape of reproductive health services has made our country feel increasingly unequal and uncertain. Because of the Supreme Court’s disastrous Dobbs decision last year, where you live and how much you earn can determine your access to essential reproductive healthcare.

And the Dobbs ruling was not an isolated incident. As I’ve said before, it was a culmination of a nearly half-century-long effort by the Republican Party to undermine women's rights. Over the years, presidential candidates from the Republican Party have made it clear that they intend to appoint Supreme Court justices who would overturn Roe v. Wade, and they delivered just that.

My opponent, David Schweikert, has made opposition to reproductive rights a core crusade during his time in Congress. He pushed a bill to ban abortion nationwide with no exceptions, voted against the right to contraception, and even voted to allow states to ban women from traveling out of state to receive an abortion.

The majority of Arizonans and Americans stand in agreement that abortion should remain safe and legal. However, our democracy is falling short of ensuring this fundamental right for all.

If elected to serve in Congress, I’ll take immediate action to enshrine the right to reproductive health care into law once and for all. However, I cannot achieve this alone. I need your support.

I believe how you run for Congress is just as important as what you do when you get there. That’s why, unlike anti-choice David Schweikert, I’m not taking contributions from corporate PACs.

Instead, I’m counting on you. Will you consider contributing $3, $33, $330, or any amount that you can afford at this moment? Your contribution will directly impact our ability to effect positive change and uphold reproductive rights.
