The future of youth work in the next 10 years

A new vision for youth work

First, at our AGM last week, we proudly unveiled the new Vision for Youth Work ([link removed]) . Developed in collaboration with our members and the wider youth sector, the document outlines our shared vision for the future direction of youth work in Ireland over the next 10 years. It represents a significant milestone in our sector’s ongoing commitment to empowering and supporting young people across Ireland, and I know you’ll find the Vision ([link removed]) useful in your work.

The NYCI Annual Conference returns!

Second, I am delighted to announce the return of our in-person Annual Conference, which will support our collective efforts in making the Vision for Youth Work a reality.

Venue: The Alex Hotel, Dublin 2

Theme: the Vision for Youth Work

Our Annual Conference will provide an opportunity for participants to gain a deeper understanding of the vision and explore strategies for its implementation across the youth sector. It promises to be an engaging and insightful event, bringing together professionals, practitioners, and advocates of youth work from all corners of Ireland to network and reconnect.
