Hi John,

[Note: January ends tomorrow and we are behind. We need to raise more money for canvassing postcards. Please rush a donation right now if you can.]

Each of our canvassing postcards (union printed ✊) costs 11 cents.

We use these postcards when we go canvassing, so people can see our top 3 issues and learn where to find out more. Here’s what they look like, front and back, designed by local Tacoma designer Henry Waymack:

We’re canvassing a lot, so we need a LOT of these postcards. 11 cents doesn’t seem like a lot, but the postcards go fast (thank you, volunteers!).

At 11 cents each, how many postcards can you buy for this campaign?

$4.40 = 40 postcards
$6.93 = 63 postcards
$26.95 = 245 postcards
$55 = 500 postcards

Usually each canvasser knocks about 40 doors, so $4.40 fully funds one canvasser for one shift!

Donate here so we can buy the postcards we need to hit our canvassing goals:

We’re $1,294 away from our goal for the Postcard Fund, and every dollar helps.

Thank you,

-Rebecca

P.S. We’re going up against a corporate machine that has virtually unlimited money. My opponent Derek Kilmer, who calls himself a national leader in getting money out of politics, has taken $3 million from corporate PACs. Hypocrisy.

We’re not going to win by playing their old, corporate, hypocritical game. Instead we’re using the new, winning playbook: small-dollar, grassroots donors and ZERO corporate money, so you know I’ll always fight for YOU, not corporations and billionaires.

That’s why I broke down our canvassing postcard costs. I want you to see where your money goes.

Unlike Corporate Kilmer, I don’t drop $6K in campaign funds on a golf resort and $12K on catering. I count pennies.

Please donate whatever you can right here, so we can keep hitting the doors:
