I have a campaign update I need you to see. We now have a third new opponent in our race, and this one is reportedly receiving the support of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC).
Here’s what I know about announcements like this: The NRCC fully stepping into this race is a signal to donors and dark money groups to start spending big on attack ads against Sharice.
Just last month, the Cook Political Report confirmed that the NRCC’s top strategy for holding the House starts here in KS-03. That’s why they’ve made Sharice a top target again in 2024, and why we’ve already seen them attack Sharice’s record of working for Kansas families.
Here’s why they especially want to defeat Sharice:
Sharice will always fight back against the nationwide assault on reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and life-saving benefits like Social Security and Medicare that millions of Americans rely on.
It’s crucial that we re-elect leaders like Sharice to keep fighting to protect our rights, strengthen our economy, and lower costs for working families. But now that our race is really heating up, we need to prepare for whatever comes next.
Our opponents and their donors will do whatever they can to mislead Kansans about Sharice’s record of delivering for working families while they promote extremist politicians who will continue to attack our individual freedoms.
